I've created a greasemonkey script for users to be able to edit the site using the monobook skin (like the wikipedia skin). This way users can incorporate all of the functionality of any scripts they may have used for wikipedia, and take advantage of some of the useful features of monobook. I've uploaded it here:
Greasmonkey Script - Clicking on the link will give you the option of installing the script, but I would recommend you look at it to see what it does. I have also not made it work for form buttons, so that is something I will try to do soon.
